President Johnson left the LBJ Ranch and returned to Glassboro, New Jersey, for the second meeting of the Glassboro Summit Conference with Soviet Chairman Aleksei Kosygin. This diary lists the President's activities for the day which included meeting Chairman Kosygin privately for lunch and flying to Washington, D.C in the evening to address the American people on live television.
